Logvinov Leonid Mitrofanovich

Head of the radiotechnical device department (RTU) of Samara State Aerospace University named after Academician S.P. Korolyov (SSAU), supervisor of research laboratory ONIL-16 and firm "ELDI", doctor of science, professor.
L.M. Logvinov was born on September 1 1944 in Kuibyshev (now Samara), graduated from radiotechnical faculty of SSAU in 1968.
He works for more than 30 years in the field of development of efficient means of automatic control of disperse systems parameters and diagnostics of friction units on parameters of wear debris.

Scientific interests:

• Devices of automatic control of mechanical impurities in working liquids of various machinery and atmosphere of plants;
• Functional diagnostics of liquid systems of aircraft and other machinery on wear debris parameters;
• Devices of automatic control of dissolved water in dielectric liquids;
• Efficient systems for microwave drying of fiberlike materials (wood, cotton wool, mushrooms, grass etc.).

Main achievements:

• First in the 80th under professor Logvinov's leadership employees of ONIL-16 developed efficient built-in sensors (BIS), performing real-time control of contaminence level in liquids without sampling;
• Using suggested BIS they developed a list of devices and systems for automatic control of contamination in liquids: POTOK-975, POTOK-RT, POTOK-935 POTOK-995, and also for sample control: AZG-975, AZG-906, AZG-907, AZG-908 and industrial airborne particles counters: EIP-3, EIP-5, EIP-9, EIP-13, EIP-17.
